                                                                                     Life is filled with ups and downs.
                                                                                            When it is up it always abounds.

                                                                                   Then there comes a really hard trial,
                                                                                          that seems to go on mile after mile.

                                                                                  The road ahead is filled with ditches.
                                                                                         I can’t tell my what’s from my which’s.

                                                                                  Should I do this or should I do that,
                                                                                        left or right, I don’t know where I’m at.

                                                                                 For a long time I’ve been using my map.
                                                                                       What way do I go to get out of this trap?

                                                                                I’ve been trying to do this on my own.
                                                                                       No one understands. I feel all alone.

                                                                              Then a voice asked, “Why don’t you pray?”.
                                                                                     God is waiting to show you the way.
