A Poem for all Seasons!
ll
Sprouts began to peek through the ground,
Reaching for the sun they looked all around.
Morning gave way to noon and to night,
Buds closed up in the pale moonlight.
Flowers lined the path on the way,
Displaying their colors day after day.
Heat did warm them until the cool of the eve,
Soon it would be time for them to leave.
Their petals start to break off and fall,
Leaves withered as the cold begins to call.
Stems were all that was left to see,
Branches are all now color free.
Snow comes down in the morning light,
Turning everything pretty and white.
Slowly the snow begins to freeze,
And then the ice melts in a warm breeze.
